We arrived in the village of Kimana Last night- it's now 5am and our schedule today is breakfast at 9am and then a meeting the local community at 11am, ministering and fellowshipping all day. The weather update-very cool nights/mornings it's the afternoons and evenings that are unbearably hot... as for the food...tastes good but not exactly the best afterwards (I miss mums cooking and readily available cold water).
As for the people they're all so welcoming and extremely hospitable. The Children are so open, they really break your heart with their innocence. As for the team everyones come out of their box, Smileys been getting out and mingling with the children especially during worship. Jules has developed such a confidence in speaking and praying, his curiosity of the things of God has developed and grown. Junior has a new boldness in talking about the things of God and loves the ways the people here worship, Samuel is more prayerful and his knowledge of worship has broadened and become more mature. Peter and ross and dad are great and Alaye and I are fine I can't wait to come home and share our experience. Report from the grounds in Kenya, Thank you Lord for your leading in that area! Praise God!!! We're approaching the snowy mountain of Kilimanjaro where we will stay for 5 days and ministering to the different churches here. Photos to follow soon!
Going to Mount Kilimanjaro today-spent all week ministering to different groups and communities-everyone's well and safe just on the road now 4 to 5 hours driving in the middle of nowhere. Miss everyone-
Jo Continue to pray for the team as the travel, divine health and favour. Amen! According to their schedule, the team is set from Jan 21-24: Meeting and visiting churches in Kajiado with Bishop Tankua. Members of the team have already been in touch with their families. Continue to pray for the team as they continue God's great work.
So the team is off to Kenya Nairobi Via Dubai. Approximately a 13 hour flight to Dubai, then a 5 hour trip to Kenya; where they will be greeted by Rev.Hyung-Gyun Kim. They will arrive and rest at the Nairobi Centre before moving onto the Kajiado Guest House.
Team Africa's Blog has been set up, and will start updating from the 19th of Jan and we will track the teams progress and updates. Continue to pray for Protection, wisdom and for God's spirit to go before them and prepare the way.
